Do you ever wake up in the morning, and feel a little disappointed by what you see in the mirror?
Perhaps you hate your oily skin? Maybe you wish your lips were plumper, or your eyelashes curled perfectly?
Maybe today you feel insecure in your body. You may feel too slender, or be unhappy with your curves. Perhaps you are wishing away those little silver hairs, or wishing you had a Hollywood smile. Maybe you wish you could change your height.
I just want to take a moment to clarify something for you…
You are beautiful!
Just the way you are. No changes are necessary. You are perfect.
You see, all warm and genuine smiles radiate kindness and beauty.
All positive and loving people glow like a bright light in a dark room.
All bodies, no matter what shape, size or height carry within them the soul of someone with so very much potential in this world to make a difference and have a positive impact on others. And when we realise just how gloriously striking our souls can be, finally we realise that we are incredibly beautiful.
Although we all love to feel attractive on the outside, it is so important also to remember that beauty is completely subjective. There is no “right way” to be beautiful. There is no universal ideal of beauty. We are all different. We are all special. And most importantly-we are all equal!
Our bodies are simply a very beautiful shell-all of the true, deep beauty lies within us. Never doubt yourself, or insult yourself, or feel inferior to others.
It is time that all of us started reminding ourselves, and the people in our lives just how wonderful we are. Build each other, (and yourselves!) up, instead of constantly searching for “faults” that simply are not there.
You, my darling, are beautiful!
Until next time.
